Students with mild/moderate needs: Going to College

Are you a student that has accommodations and wants to go to college?

Students and parents, please join us for a special presentation by Melissa Cermak (Assistant Director, Access Center, MSU of Denver) and Judy Jordan (Principal of DCSD Transition Bridge Program).  In addition, we will hear from a former HRHS student with Mild/Moderate accommodations about how she conducted her college search. We will be discussing the questions a prospective student with accommodations needs to be asking, the role parents play in this journey and the general services/requirements provided from colleges.  There will be a question and answer session after the presentations.

Each session will focus on one of the instruments, including a session of musical experiences that would be used in music therapy. The course will be led by Bonnie Houpt, board-certified music therapist (MT-BC). The students will have a chance to learn new skills on each instrument, discover which instruments they like best, and play with their peers. Click Here for more information.
